In the last post, I talked about opening myself up to feeling the emotions I’ve been trying to “fix”. I decided to create a space to allow access to the emotions without blocking or protecting myself from them.

This has allowed me to be present to the feelings and truly accept what is, with objectivity rather than judgement. As Michael A. Singer says in his book, The Untethered Soul, “Everything will be ok, when you’re ok with everything.”⠀

In accepting what is, the thoughts and feelings I’ve been trying to keep at bay, are able to pass through more gently.⠀I am left with peace that this life, in the midst of the ups and downs, is about experience, growth and evolution.

We aren’t here to “fix” it, avoid it or suppress it with all of the band aids. It is understanding that “all of it” is part of the process. It is our responsibility to stay in it, to be with it and to embrace it. All of it.

With love,

Kathryn
