What you want is already yours.

I love this concept! It’s one that I heard referenced again a week or so ago and I’ve begun to really let it sink in for myself. ⠀

If everything I want is already mine and I’m simply in the process of remembering how to have it, it releases all the urgency, all of the questions and requires only that I believe. ⠀

Belief, however, can be illusive when I’m experiencing emotions of self-doubt, insecurity and/or unworthiness. With these emotions, the last thing I am driven to do is believe.

Instead, I find myself wanting to hide, to protect myself and to shy away from even dreaming about the possibilities. ⠀

In order to begin believing, I am choosing to feel steadfast. When I think about what I want and that it is already mine, I am choosing to be firm, unwavering and resolute in my desire.

This feeling drives me into believing that I have what I want. In that believing, I begin to look at the how with curiosity and to learn how to take one step at a time toward what already “exists”.⠀

With love,

Kathryn
