When was the last time you felt truly open? Open to opportunity, to situations that might feel uncomfortable or be challenging? ⠀

I’ve been opening myself up to new situations lately and allowing myself the space to see what comes up for me. With these new situations, I’ve realized quite a bit about myself. I’m seeing areas where some deep-rooted feelings live that I’ve built a few walls around in an effort to protect myself. ⠀

Interestingly enough the opposite is happening. When I try to protect myself, by not experiencing the feelings, the feelings come through in more ways that before. So, I’m opening myself up to feeling them, to experiencing them, not trying to “fix” them, but to learn from them with an open heart…accepting them.

When I am able to accept what is there, the thoughts and the feelings pass through. Relief and understanding are created!⠀

With love,

Kathryn
